Cast Nets — Manufacturer & OEM Supplier

Everwin Sports manufactures hand-thrown cast nets for bait gathering and inshore harvest — bait, mullet, and heavy deep-load models in radius sizes from 3 to 12 feet. Nets are knotted or knotless from clear monofilament and braided nylon, hung to a horn and brail-line system with a galvanized chain or lead weight line that sinks fast and spreads the net to a full circle. Mesh openings are sized to the target bait, and every panel is hand-tied and balanced for a clean pancake throw. UV-stabilized twine and corrosion-resistant weight lines hold up to repeated saltwater casting.

Available factory-direct from our Weihai, China facility for wholesale, private-label and custom OEM production — alternate materials, sizes and branding, typically from 500 units, for buyers across major export markets.

[ 03 ] FAQ

Common questions

What radius sizes and mesh openings do your cast nets come in?

Cast nets are made in radius sizes from 3' to 12' with mesh openings from 3/8" to 1-1/4", sized to the bait you target — tighter mesh for minnows and shrimp, wider for mullet and larger baitfish. Bait, mullet, and heavy deep-load weight ratings are available. Tell us your bait and water depth and we will recommend a radius, mesh, and weight-line load.

What materials and weight line are used?

Nets are knotted or knotless from clear monofilament and braided nylon, both UV-stabilized for repeated saltwater casting. The weight line is galvanized chain or lead at roughly 1 lb per foot of radius, with corrosion-resistant brail lines, a horn, and a swivel. Heavier weight lines sink faster and spread the net flatter in current or deeper water.

How do I choose between a bait, mullet, and deep-load net?

Bait nets use light line and fine mesh for quick throws over schooling bait, mullet nets balance reach and sink rate for inshore flats, and deep-load nets carry a heavier weight line to reach fish holding deep or in current. Larger radius covers more water but is harder to throw. We will match the model to your skill level and fishery.

Can cast nets be customized or produced under OEM or private label?

Yes — radius, mesh, weight-line load, horn type, and twine color are all configurable, and we manufacture under OEM and private-label programs with branded tags and packaging. First-time branded runs include sampling so you can confirm the throw and sink before volume. Send your spec sheet and we will quote and sample.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Standard cast nets ship by the carton and consolidate toward container volume given their light weight. Custom or private-label runs typically start around 500 units per specification. We confirm the exact minimum once radius, mesh, and weight line are set.

What is the production lead time?

Standard cast nets run about 30–45 days after deposit. A first-time custom or branded run takes roughly 45–60 days including sampling, with repeat orders returning to the 30–45 day window. Carton and container consolidation are arranged alongside production.
